The purpose of this program is to improve mental health outcomes for children and youth (birth to 21 years of age) with serious emotional disturbances and their families.
This program will provide funds to states/territories/tribes to develop a comprehensive strategic plan in order to improve treatment for adolescents (ages 12-18) and/or transitional aged youth (ages 16-25) with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders.
This program develops and implements training programs to teach students in health professions evidence-based screening and brief intervention skills. It also instructs them on how to refer patients who are at risk for a substance use disorder to appropriate treatment.
The program aims to enhance or develop the infrastructure of states and their treatment service systems to provide accessible, comprehensive, coordinated, and evidence-based treatment and support services.
This program aims to expand the implementation of Project LAUNCH systems improvement and wellness promotion/prevention services into new communities within states and tribes that have completed a Project LAUNCH five-year grant.
This program provides funding to states, territories and tribes to improve treatment services for adolescents and/or transitional aged youth with substance use disorders (including those with co-occurring mental and substance use disorders).
This program aims to expand and/or enhance substance abuse treatment services in existing adult and family "problem solving" courts, which use the treatment drug court model in order to provide alcohol and drug treatment to defendants/offenders.
